How it all started
Like many of you, we love pasta for its ease and speed of preparation, appreciating its variability, whether in cooking a main dish or as a side dish, from simple recipes to culinary delights. The downside of classic pasta is its high carbohydrate content and low protein content, which forces a large number of people to cut it out of their diet.
So we set out to find an alternative, a pasta with higher protein and lower carbs that will be suitable for all of us - whether we're athletes, vegans, trying to lose weight or just looking for a healthier, tastier and more nutritious option to go with every meal.
However, since there was no suitable and quality alternative for us, we decided to create one and turn this idea into Happy Kraken pasta. We started by buying a simple, small pasta machine that allowed us to test all sorts of different protein pasta recipes. In addition to the great taste and balanced nutritional values, we focused on the texture, cooking time and also the visual aspect of the pasta. It quickly became apparent that combining all our requirements would not be so easy. We didn't always get the recipe right and the pasta didn't hold its shape or overcooked quickly.
Undeterred, the exhausting and hard work quickly became our passion and we knew we were heading in the right direction.
A few months later, after countless recipe changes, testing and consultations with food technologists, we created a delicious protein pasta that is easy to make, doesn't stick and won't spoil.
We realised that this was not the end of our journey and the development continues every day. Our plan for the future is to bring our customers new types of protein pasta, new shapes as well as other products with increased protein and reduced carbohydrates. We also keep the environment and sustainability in mind when manufacturing our products. We are working hard to reduce our carbon footprint and to use even more eco-friendly and already recycled materials.

We make sure that most of the raw materials we use come from EU countries. We have established and continue to establish further cooperation with suppliers of the best quality raw materials grown in the EU.

All our products are manufactured and packaged in EU countries, in facilities that meet the highest standards of hygiene and quality.
No unnecessary additives
The purity of our products comes first. We say a resounding "no" to artificial colours, flavourings or preservatives. We also do not use any genetically modified ingredients.
Emphasis on sustainability
We value our nature and use only recycled and recyclable packaging and materials. We are constantly looking for more ways to reduce our carbon footprint.
